GUADALAJARA, MEXICO – Today we’re going on an ultimate 14 hour Mexican street food tour in Guadalajara, Mexico! Get ready for all out Mexican food starting at one of the biggest markets in the city – we’ll try goat birria, menudo, and a crazy sandwich filled with carne asada and drenched in beans and cheese.

We’re starting this Mexican street food tour at Mercado de Abastos, one of the top markets in the city.

Birriería Aceves (https://maps.app.goo.gl/ViNjys3zNQnGqor17) – This place is extremely popular to serving Birria de Chivo, the ultimate dish of Jalisco. The goat is steamed and baked, chopped, then served with the incredible consume.

Carnitas El Gringo (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Td4SskCdFNpQocebA) – Next up, Claudio took us to a carnitas stall that specializes in the unique Pizza Aztecas.

Menuderia Chela (https://maps.app.goo.gl/oooNEw6EXyvsRJFR7) – Next up at the market you’ll find this incredibly popular stall that specializes in Jalisco style menudo, or stomach stew.

Carnes Asadas Ramón (https://maps.app.goo.gl/SmeJApriqckdARZAA) – Finally right next door don’t miss Carnes Asadas Ramón for grilled beef stuffed into bread or tortillas, drenched in bean soup, and topped with fresh cream and cheese. Enfrijoladas are something you have to try!

Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Zapopan – Next up we’re continuing with our Mexican street food tour in Zapopan, the city adjacent to Guadalajara and part of the metro area. We tried some Camote Enmielado (the sweet potatoes).
