Andrew is in Rome, indulging in cheese, cheese, and more cheese! He begins with a first-hand look at the preserving and aging process of Rome’s crowning jewel: pecorino Romano cheese. He is granted access into the heavily-guarded limestone caves that house the Brunelli family’s massive cheese fortune and takes a bite extracted from the center of an aging wheel. Then, it’s off to Pizzeria Ostiense for some of Rome’s paper-thin style pizzas topped with anchovy sauce and puntarelle, buffalo mozzarella and red sauce, and peas, mushroom, and sausage. According to Andrew, it’s his “new favorite pizza!”
