Lake Erie High, founder of the South Carolina Barbecue Association, introduces Tony to Sweatmans, an institution known for their ‘whole hog’ barbecue. Customers come from miles just to sample the tangy, soft, barbecued meats. After one bite of crunchy pig skin, Tony is hooked. Having sampled the cuisine, Tony dives into South Carolina history by joining forces with Civil War reenactors, members of the South Carolina Volunteer Infantry.
